Course Description

Continuation of an introduction to the principles of chemistry. Investigation of intermolecular forces and their effects on chemical and physical properties. Investigation of reversible reactions from the standpoints of kinetics, thermodynamics, and equilibrium. Investigation and application of gas laws and kinetic molecular theory.

De Anza will host its annual Enrollment Day event for graduating high school students and their families on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Main Quad and other locations.

Sixteen faculty members were granted tenure by the Foothill-De Anza district Board of Trustees on Monday, during a special celebration attended by Chancellor Lee Lambert and leaders from the college and district. Colleagues, deans and family members were also there to congratulate them.
