Introduction to Automotive Principles

Course Description

A selective study of the automobile's engine systems. Knowledge and skills that are necessary for basic repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of today's engine systems. This course may be used to fulfill the prerequisite to the Automotive Technology Program.

De Anza will host its annual Enrollment Day event for graduating high school students and their families on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Main Quad and other locations.

Sixteen faculty members were granted tenure by the Foothill-De Anza district Board of Trustees on Monday, during a special celebration attended by Chancellor Lee Lambert and leaders from the college and district. Colleagues, deans and family members were also there to congratulate them.
