Auto Tech Car Show
Join us on May 9, 2026 for our annual car show and job fair. $20 registration to show a vehicle, spectators are free.
$1,500 Scholarship for Electric Vehicle Certificate
Interested in working on electric vehicles? Metallica Scholars can receive $500 per quarter, for up to three quarters, while completing the requirements for a Level 1 or Level 2 EV Technician certificate.
Free SMOG Classes Starting June 29, 2026

Credit for Prior Learning
NEW Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) allows students to earn college credit on the path to earning an AS degree in Automotive Technology for prior knowledge of automotive technology, having current ASE certification, and prior work experience. Discover more information here.

All of our introductory and evening courses are now available with a noncredit option, tuition-free!

Introductory Classes
We have classes to help you explore the world of auto tech and prepare for entry into the full-time program. No prior instruction or work experience is required.
Daytime Program
We offer certificates and degrees in three major subject areas for full-time students.
Evening Programs
We offer certificates and degrees in four major subject areas for evening students, including apprentices and technicians.
Hybrids and Plug-In Vehicles
We offer evening classes and the chance to work hands-on with a variety of hybrid and plug-in vehicles from Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Nissan and Toyota.
Smog Inspector or Technician
We have courses to help you qualify as a smog inspector or technician.
