Photo ID Card
The Office of College Life issues the DASG Card — the official student ID for De Anza College. It gives you access to campus labs, the library, events, services, and discounts at local businesses. Faculty, staff, and other on-campus programs can also receive ID cards and badges through our office.
Get your DASG Card
Visit the Office of College Life with the following:
- Current enrollment at De Anza College (current or upcoming quarter)
- Your De Anza College Student ID Number
- A current, original physical photo ID — copies and photos on your phone are not accepted (e.g. Driver's License, State ID, Passport, or recent High School ID)
Your first DASG Card is free
Keep your card even when you're not enrolled — it stays valid for three years from the date it was issued and will reload automatically when you return.
Digital ID Card
A digital version of your ID is available in MyPortal. Go to Apps and select the Digital ID Card tile in the Students section. It's also accessible from the hamburger menu in the De Anza College App for Android and iOS.
DASG Card Policies
- The DASG Card is the property of De Anza Student Government. It entitles the student to access and service privileges as long as DASG fees are current. Access may be denied if fees are delinquent.
- The initial card is free. Replacement cards are $5.00. Replacement fees will be charged to your bill payments online.
- Your DASG Card is your official ID for campus labs, the library, and campus events. Carry it with you whenever you are on campus or at campus-sponsored events.
- The card may not be transferred, altered, or tampered with in any way. Strict penalties apply for unauthorized actions.
- Only Campus Police may hold a DASG Card. All other campus departments must return recovered cards to the Card Office immediately.
- If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, notify the Office of College Life immediately.
Replacement Fee
The standard replacement fee is $5.00, charged to your student account. The following exceptions apply:
- Expired cards are replaced at no charge.
- If you have not been registered for three or more quarters, your card is replaced at no charge.
- If your card was stolen in a burglary, robbery, or theft, the fee is waived with a police report. Note: a lost property report or "assumed stolen" does not qualify.
