III. Process for Hiring Committees :  A flow chart slightly revised  from the one distributed at the June 4th meeting was distributed.  Discussion resulted in apparent agreement on the appropriate involvement of departments and divisions.  Final approval of the new process outlined in the flow chart will be sought at the June 18th meeting.  Senators who happen to discover glaring errors or omissions were asked to contact Hearn or Chenoweth preferably by noon June 13th.
V.   CEAG – Sustainability Management Plan:  Jensen-Sullivan presented a proposed Sustainability Management Plan produced by the Campus Environmental Advisory Group (CEAG).  With visual assistance from Chenoweth, she took the group through the comprehensive document in significant detail.   At the conclusion of the presentation, the plan was approved and Jensen-Sullivan was encouraged to take steps necessary to spread the word about the plan and to promote its adoption as or modeling for a District plan.
VI.  Student Learning Outcomes: Regarding a Summer retreat concerning Student Learning Outcomes, Hearn asked three questions:  1) Who should participate?; What should be discussed?; and How should the goals be set?
