| TBD | Implicit Bias Training: Understanding and Recognizing Implicit Bias | A practical training focused on how unconscious attitudes and assumptions can influence decision-making, workplace interactions, and outcomes. The session introduces what implicit bias is, why it exists, and how it can affect areas such as hiring, evaluation, supervision, and everyday workplace experiences. Participants will explore research-based examples of how bias operates and learn practical strategies to reduce it's impact, including increasing self-awareness, slowing decision-making, and using more intentional, evidence-based approaches. Participants will learn about two recently passed District resolutions, how they protect undocumented and mixed-status communities, and the shared responsibility we have to uphold them.
