I’ve also had the opportunity to work in the EOPS office at De Anza as a part-time counselor, and as a manager for a college access program, called Destination College Advising Corps, through UC Berkeley.

I was born and raised in Palo Alto. I graduated from Palo Alto High School and attended De Anza College. I was a First Year Experience Program (FYE) student and utilized the Math Performance Success Program (MPS) and received my AA degree in Liberal Arts for Social and Behavioral Sciences.

I transferred to San Francisco University to obtain my bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. After careful thought and consideration I decided to continue my education. I then transferred to San Jose State University to receive my master's degree in Counselor's Education.

I then worked as an academic advisor at UC Santa Cruz for two years and then worked in the same position for a year and half at De Anza College.

I cherished the connection, dedication and teamwork that the MPS team fosters. I am happy to be a part of a growing community and eager to help and serve as a counselor for the MPS Program.

Students who aren't in the MPS program can visit the general Counseling and Advising Center or a counselor within their division or program.
