New! Associate Degree for Transfer (Starting 2026)

We are proud to offer the Music ADT, a streamlined pathway designed to guarantee your admission to the California State University (CSU) system. By declaring this major, you ensure that every credit counts toward your future.

Applied Music: Individual Instruction

Personalized mentorship is key to musical growth. We now offer Applied Music courses, providing focused instrument lessons to help you master your craft.

  • Available Areas: Guitar, Piano, Voice, and Flute.

Note: These courses are essential for the ADT and provide the one-on-one attention necessary for transfer to competitive music programs. The department is planning to expand its offerings to other instruments in the near future!

  • Comprehensive Musicianship: A two-year series covering theory and musicianship—the core foundation for all music majors.
  • General Education & Electives: Explore courses in Songwriting, Electronic Music, and Music Appreciation.
  • Introductory Classes: Beginner-friendly group classes in keyboard, guitar, and voice.
