Arts, Ideas and Values
Course Description
Interdisciplinary introduction to artistic cultural studies. A critical analysis of the dynamic process through which contemporary cultural values and social constructions of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, social class, religion and globalization shape and have been shaped by artistic expression. Special emphasis is placed on art as a tool for social change.

HUMI-016.01A: Open to all students who meet normal course prerequisites and who have been accepted by formal application to the Study Abroad Paris program and who have paid a program fee of $2,400 (which may include Financial Aid) plus airfare. All classes require permission of the instructor, Mr. Sal Breiter, breitersal@fhda.edu/ Course work takes place in PARIS.
