Environmental Science
Course Description
This introductory course explores the relationships between human activities and the environment, examining their impacts on living and nonliving systems. Course topics include evolution, ecology, biodiversity, human population dynamics, resource use, pollution, environmental degradation, climate change, management of marine and freshwater resources, and environmental policy.

ESCI D001.FYE: This class is part of the First Year Experience (FYE) Learning Community, designed to help first year students succeed through community-building and linked classes. This is a HYBRID class that has both online and ON CAMPUS attendance requirements. Concurrent enrollment in EWRT 01A.FY and COUN 005.1FY (26639) required.
