This course focuses on understanding native speakers' speech and production of speech that is intelligible and accurate through the study and practice of the English language vowel sounds, syllables, and prosodic patterns and features.

ESL 460A.01: NON-CREDIT Fully ON-CAMPUS. This class meets on-campus each week on scheduled days and times as noted in the class listing. This noncredit class mirrors the credit class ESL 260A. Noncredit courses are intended to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills or enrich understanding of a wide range of topics.
