Increase support from deans and faculty members across the campus for engaged learning classes.

Ask Institutional Research to do an analysis of difference between civic metrics for E and non E classes.

Convene a team to work on this initiative.

Present at divisions meetings about engaged learning.

Meet with deans to promote engaged learning.

Work with Professional Development to get PGA approval for Engaged Learning workshop.

Winter 2025

Hold faculty training.

Develop Canvas Modules for Engaged Learning.

By compiling examples of civic capacity and social change activities, articles, text and assignments from disciplines across the campus, faculty will have access to these content within Canvas to import into their shell. These easily accessible resources can infuse civic capacity and social change across disciplines in an effort to ensure our students are empowered to be agents of change within their communities, regardless of their field of study or discipline.


Develop mechanism for "Community Engaged Scholar" designation to be on student transcripts, possibly as a badge.


Roll out training for faculty to make their classes eligible for the Environmental Sustainability and Global Citizenship requirement.
