Important Update on Deliveries

The district Shipping and Receiving warehouse will begin receiving all shipping deliveries for De Anza College, effective Oct. 1, 2021.

The De Anza Mailroom in the ADM building will continue to accept letters delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.

NEW All deliveries of ANY size other than letters through the U.S. Postal Service (including packages or other deliveries by the U.S. Postal Service; and all deliveries by shipping companies such as UPS, FEDEX, Amazon, Office Depot, etc.) must be sent to the district warehouse at this address:

[name of employee who should receive the shipment]

The district staff will then deliver the shipment to the named employee on the De Anza campus.

This change is necessary because the college will not be able to use the Bookstore loading dock after the new management company, Follet Higher Education, begins operating the Bookstore in October. De Anza does not have another central receiving area with staff or equipment to handle large items.

(The change does not affect Bookstore orders. The Bookstore will continue to handle its own shipping and receiving, including faculty orders for textbooks and materials.)

When filling out a purchase requisition, please include the following information

  • Ship code: 4A
  • Attention to: Foothill-De Anza District Shipping and Receiving
  • De Anza College department name
  • Name of person who should receive final delivery at De Anza
  • Building and office location for final delivery
  • Phone number and email address of person who should receive final delivery
