The Pride Center will be screening the new film, Heightened Scrutiny, to celebrate Pride Month, on June 5, from 3-5 p.m. in MLC 105. Free boba will be available to the first 40 guests.
This film recently screened at Sundance and follows Chase Strangio, ACLU attorney and the first out trans person to argue before the Supreme Court, as he fights a high-stakes legal battle to overturn Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth (United States v. Skrmetti). This film is not yet available to the public.
