    The committee reviewed the notes from the October 7 meeting. 

    Newell shared the draft plan for gathering input for the strategic plan through four 1.5-hour workshops (presentation of information + break out rooms for discussion) for the following dates and times:

    1. December 2 | noon –1:30: Overview, Data and Initiatives

    2. January 24 | 1-2:30: Supporting Cultural and Structural Equity Through Guided Pathways

    3. February 28 | 1-2:30: Regional Trends, Enrollment and Retention

    4. March 14 | 1-2:30: Ensuring Learning Through the Student Success Factors

    As well as share proposed Institutional Initiatives, student population areas of focus and metric. The group then review key data in small groupsInstitutional Research and Planning (deanza.edu) to determine if the proposed initiatives and metrics are aligned with the data. 

    It was confirmed overall that the data validate the recommendations, though additional disaggregations were suggested, which will be added before the December 2 workshop.
