Computers You Can Use on Campus
Many classrooms and labs at De Anza have computers installed for students to use during class hours. If you need to borrow a computer on campus at other times, here are some options.
Need Help Buying Your Own Computer?
You may be able to get financial assistance with purchasing your own computer: Check the Basic Needs webpage under "Computers and Internet Access"Library
Starting Jan. 31 (the fifth week of winter quarter):
- Laptop computers will be available for check-out to use inside the Library on Monday-Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Desktop computers will be available in the reference area during these hours
- Desktop computers and printing will be available in the Library Computer Lab (LC 113) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. (On Thursdays, you should enter from the outside of the building facing the Sunken Garden.)
RSS Building
- Computers in the lobby of the Registration & Student Services (RSS) building are available for students to register for classes or take care of
other brief tasks.
CompTechS
- Request a free computer from the Occupational Training Institute (OTI) at De Anza. OTI has a program called CompTechS that refurbishes donated computers and makes them available for eligible students at Foothill and De Anza.
