Dr. Christopher Dela Rosa, Interim President
Christopher Dela Rosa, D.M., was appointed interim president of De Anza College in July 2026 and began serving on September 1. He will serve in the role until a permanent president is appointed.
Dela Rosa has been part of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District since September 2024, serving as vice chancellor of business services and district chief business officer.
He brings more than 28 years of experience in higher education, including teaching and administrative leadership roles at community colleges and universities. His experience spans instruction, technology, finance, operations and organizational leadership, with a demonstrated commitment to collaboration, problem-solving and student success.

The administration of De Anza College is organized into four major areas: Instruction, Student Services, Administrative Services and Workforce Innovation and Economic Advancement.
The vice presidents for these areas, along with other senior staff, advise and report to the president.
Shared Governance
De Anza follows a shared governance model, in which all members of the college community — students, faculty, classified professionals and administrators — are encouraged to participate. Through their constituent organizations, these groups provide representation to the planning and budget teams, shared governance committees and the College Council, which makes recommendations to the president.
