    Approval of Agenda & Minutes from May 20 meeting
    • Agenda approved.
    • Minutes from June 3, 2019, approved.

    • No current needs.
    • We still need applicants for IPBT and SSPBT. Nominations end June 14th at 5:00 pm. They should be submitted to the link shared by Karen (add link).
    • IPBT this week is not a normal meeting.

    Academic Senate stipends for Part-Time Faculty (1st discussion)
    • Proposal to pay the part-time senators, of which we have 2, and we also pay the part-time representatives on IPBT and SSPBT $30/meeting they attend. With the understanding that the IPBT meeting has more work than others- including additional weekly meetings and program review homework on a subcommittee in an area outside of their own.
    • Discussion
      • The amount of money coming into our account monthly from faculty contributions is currently around $900.
      • Bob- we need to work on our organizing between the Senate and the union. Supports part-time stipend.
      • Terrance shared that he was unaware that contributions existed until the new faculty orientation where Karen presented it.
      • The form is available online here.
      • Suggest approaching the administration to get matching funds.
      • Cynthia supports Ilan’s suggestion of $100 per meeting for each of the four positions.
      • Erik requested that next time this is up for discussion would like a financial presentation.
      • Dawn will bring information on part time compensation for participation in professional development
