Programs Designed Just for YOU!

Welcome to De Anza!

Dear Student,

We’re glad you’re joining us at De Anza this fall. In addition to great classes, we have amazing programs and Learning Communities that will help you connect with fellow students and resources, to make your college journey successful – and fun!

These programs are open to all students. Here are just a few examples:

IMPACT AAPI

IMPACT AAPI logoIMPACT AAPI supports academic achievement for students who share a background or interest in Asian American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander culture and heritage – including those from Filipinx and Southeast Asian populations that have been underrepresented in higher education. Learn more at deanza.edu/impact-aapi.

Learning in Communities (LinC)

LinC logoLinC is a community of students and instructors who work together in a friendly, supportive atmosphere, while taking linked courses that explore common themes, content and materials. LinC integrates two or more subjects to create better understanding of both. It’s a great way to make new friends and help each other succeed. Learn more at deanza.edu/linc.

Umoja Community

Umoja logoUmoja students build knowledge and critical thinking skills while exploring historic and cultural contributions from across the African Diaspora. The program offers supportive services to promote university transfer and academic achievement. Learn more at deanza.edu/umoja.

Rising Scholars

This program offers peer support, a dedicated counselor, tutoring, internship opportunities and more. Learn more at deanza.edu/rising-scholars.

More Ways to Connect

You’ll find more Learning Communities listed at deanza.edu/learning-communities. These programs are open to all eligible students.
