Honoring Student Veterans

Mural Unveiling – May 16, 2023

Members of the De Anza community, along with Cupertino Mayor Hung Wei and representatives from the Rotary Club of Cupertino and the Foothill-De Anza Foundation, joined with student veterans for a special event to celebrate the new mural outside the Veterans Resource Center in the Seminar Building.

The program included brief remarks before the formal unveiling of the new mural and a plaque acknowledging the Rotary Club of Cupertino and the Foothill-De Anza Foundation for their generous support of this project.

Video: The Making of "Stronger Together"

“Stronger Together” honors the hundreds of military veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists and military dependents who attend De Anza each year. It was designed and painted by De Anza Visual Arts students and faculty members, in consultation with student veterans.
