The Foothill-De Anza district board of trustees honored De Anza's faculty tenure recipients during a special event on Monday, recognizing the 18 recipients for 2021 as well as 15 more from 2020.

Four members of the De Anza community will be honored this week with Excellence Awards from the national League for Innovation in the Community College. The awards recognize outstanding contributions in teaching, leadership and service.

Gov. Gavin Newsom recently thanked some of the De Anza College Nursing students who are helping give COVID-19 vaccinations at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.

De Anza's Euphrat Museum of Art is hosting its winter exhibition online, with four virtual galleries exploring "Sources of Solace" in connection with this year's Silicon Valley Reads campaign.

Did you know that students can drop in for assistance at a number of Student Services offices, without coming to campus - and without an appointment? These offices have virtual help desks on Zoom at scheduled times each week.

De Anza College was invited to make a presentation for a statewide audience about student-centered practices that have helped maintain stable enrollment this fall, when enrollment has declined for many community colleges around the nation.

De Anza's Online Education Center has won national recognition for developing two comprehensive resource hubs for students and faculty members, providing extensive tools to assist with the transition to online this spring.
