DASG Chartered Programs
Borrow a bike or E-bike for free! Qualified students can borrow a bicycle or e-bike — along with a helmet, lock, and corral key — at no cost for the quarter.
DASG Sponsors free thirty-minute (30-minute) legal advice appointments for currently enrolled students. Appointments take place over Zoom. Attorney will provide referrals for those who need further assistance or representation.
All De Anza students and staff can purchase discounted AMC movie tickets through the Office of College Life — at a significant savings off the regular price.
DASG sponsors various scholarships that are both merit-based and needs-based. Applications are accepted through AcademicWorks and evaluated annually.
DASG's Flea Market is held every first Saturday of the months and attracts hundreds of vendors selling vintage clothing, antique, plants, collectibles and more!
Your student ID gives you access to campus labs, the library, events, and services. Your DASG card can also get you discounts at local businesses!
DASG Sponsored Programs
Each year, the De Anza Student Government (DASG) allocates more than $1 million in student funds to support programs, services, events, and initiatives that enhance the student experience. Through a collaborative budgeting process, student leaders evaluate funding requests and make decisions that address the needs and priorities of the De Anza community.
Examples of programs and initiatives supported by DASG funding include:
- Newspaper printing budget support for La Voz News
- Operational expenses for the Inter Club Council (ICC)
- Leadership development and training opportunities for De Anza Student Leaders
- Guest speakers and educational events hosted by the Office of Equity, Social Justice, and Multicultural Education
- One-time capital projects, such as new signage for the Kirsch Environmental Studies Outdoor Areas
- Educational field trips, such as visits to Monterey for students enrolled in Marine Biology courses
- And many more student-focused programs and services across campus!
